SEM SCOURER
SEM SCOURER
SEM
Non woven scuff material for keying a surface before primer, sealer or topcoat. A scourer abrades just enough to give the next coat something to grip, without cutting the deep scratch pattern that sandpaper leaves, so it suits paint, primer, plastics and trim, and gets into contours a disc cannot reach.Choosing a grade
Maroon, very fine, roughly P360 the general purpose scuff for keying existing paint, primer and plastics
Grey, ultra fine, roughly P800 the finest grade, for final keying immediately before basecoat and for sensitive colours such as light silvers where a maroon pad would show scratching
Choosing a format
Pad the standard hand size, supplied 25 per pack
Disc 150mm for machine scuffing on an orbital sander, supplied 20 per pack
Roll 115mm x 10m, tear off only what the job needs
Works wet or dry.
